
Black Hills Special Services’ Tobacco Prevention Program focuses on reducing disease, disability, and death related to tobacco use by preventing the initiation of tobacco use among young people, promoting quitting among youth and adults, and eliminating nonsmokers’ exposure to environmental tobacco smoke.

Resources include brochures, posters, videos, display items, reference books, games, curricula program ideas and information through forums, conferences, councils, and networks. The Tobacco Prevention Program also provides technical assistance on prevention activities to community groups, schools, professionals, parents, and youth.
