Adult Education Student Support Fund

In 2020 the Career Learning Center created an Adult Education Student Support Fund for our students studying for their GED® in the communities of Belle Fourche, Sturgis, Spearfish, Rapid City, Custer, and Hot Springs. The CLC received several donations from our community members and community organizations to start this fund with a challenge to generate $5,000 in matching funds. The John T. Vucurevich Foundation met this match, bringing the fund to $10,000. Since then the fund has continued to grow through the generous donations of our community.

If you would like to donate to the fund, please know:

There are NO administrative fees taken from your donation.
Funds are used for emergencies for our students; such needs as rent assistance, utilities, fuel, bus passes, employment uniform/attire, employment tools, education/training materials and supplies.

A separate account has been established solely for these funds and strict check and balance systems are in place for this fund.
